2.) Students discover midsegment using graph paper and calculating slope, midpoints, and length. We did three examples. Concluded that midsegment is half the length of it’s parallel buddy.
2.) On back of handout, students given 3 examples to practice calculation of midsegment. Further practice tomorrow.

1.) Begin section 3-5: Interior and Exterior Polygon Sums.
2.) Using 3-5 Notes, students develop formula for Interior Angle Sum by examining relation ship between number of sides and number of triangles contained.
3.) Then extend polygon edges and explore exterior angles and angle sums.
